The Global Strike for Gaza took place last week.

I’ve never really participated in a strike before. But it felt important to throw my weight behind this movement to show my support for the Palestinians who are *still* being massacred in Gaza.

I don’t know if my small action here in Xalapa made any difference. Still, it served as a time of reflection for me.

Here’s what happened/ what I did:

  • I didn’t work — I didn’t post anything on social media about my business and didn’t attend any work-related activities the whole week (except one). I also canceled my Intentional Travel Workshop which was scheduled for the 24th of Jan in light of the strike.

  • I didn’t purchase from any mega corporations or patronize any brands (that I knew of) that support Israel.

  • I avoided using my credit/debit cards and paid for whatever essentials I ne…
